QUOTE OF THE WEEK

If we practice gratitude and keep a thankful heart, we’ll automatically extend inspiration wherever we go.

About Me

I hold a genuine belief that whatever we focus on becomes our story, our lives. If we change our thoughts, transformation begins. A friend once advised, "in all things be grateful." That is my inspiration.

I believe that finding thankfulness in everything will change the way you see things. The weather is not too cold or too hot, it just is. A person is not more intelligent, more handsome or wittier than we are, they just are. Try focusing on the internal rather than the external. Even on your most challenging days, if you sit in silence, you will find that there is something to be grateful for. For instance, your breath which you don't have to control, the clothing on your back, the clean water you drink. Count your blessings and your obstacles will fade. I am hoping that everyone who reads this blog will be compelled to share their comments on gratitude.

I am married to a wonderful, supportive man, I have three grown boys who I adore and are very proud of. And I'm looking forward to the birth of my 1st grand baby in May! I have a very tight circle of friends who meet on Wednesday to catch up with each others lives. We have officially titled every Wednesday 'Wine Wednesday.' I belong to a Spiritual Center where I have met warm and like-minded people. I volunteer and take classes as much as I can. I am truly blessed to have all of these people in my life, they make my life whole.

For 2011 I've made a commitment to 365 Days of Gratitude in the hopes that it inspires. My goal is to have this blog travel around the globe while encouraging others in sharing their daily gratitude in the comments section. I've added Google Translator so that everyone can share. I truly hope to inspire many but honestly, if I only inspire myself...that too I will be grateful for.
