Day 12 in Gratitude

Good morning! I am so grateful to have had a safe, uneventful flight into Atlanta! This ice/snow storm has really paralyzed this city and airport. Cars and trucks stranded on the roadside, people can't get in or out of the city. Mother Nature really did a number here. With all that, the Atlanta city dwellers don't seem too bothered. Smiling and laughing as they tell their travel horror stories to each other, they're very inspiring.

I am grateful to have gotten a good night's sleep. Sometimes I struggle sleeping in hotels longing for my own bed and surroundings. I think I was just so tired, I had no problem whatsoever.

I am grateful to have watched the Atlanta sunrise this morning. Looking out my hotel window which faces northeast, I saw the most perfect sunrise. I always wonder if God boasts every morning when the universe puts on such a display of beauty. Thank you!

What are you grateful for?

  1. Today I woke up to see the most beautiful snow falling. The flakes were floating in the air. They were so big I could almost see the designs that each unique flake has. I am so grateful for the beauty that surrounded my morning. What a wonderful way to start the day!

  3. Barbara and Tony, I'm so blessed to know you both and am looking forward to growing our friendships. I feel very thankful for the life I have and the wonderful spiritual people I have met - thank you! And please, if you're comfortable with it, forward my blog to all your friends and family. The more gratitude grows, the more the tides of consciousness will change!

  4. Wow! What a great trip to Atlanta! I'm really happy to have met you Linda and hope your feet survived the rest of your trip. Today I am most grateful for my 11 year old technical advisor who is walking me through the "Post a Comment" process. I have such positive thoughts about 2011 and really believe I have made good choices - especially given the spectacular people I met on this trip. Enjoy the day!

  5. @Annette, I'm so grateful to have met you! What a wonderfully important conversation we had indeed. My feet have survived, I bought shoes that were a bit more appropriate for the job. And, if you read tonight's post, I'm here one more night. Glad your travel was safe and I hope I bump into you in NY. Please feel free to post as often as you'd like and share the blog with friends - let's make some good things happen. Namaste
